GEOTEC Surveys Ltd have executed our Business Continuity Plan in order to limit disruption to clients as much as possible during the Coronavirus outbreak and associated social distancing measures and are implementing the following measures:

Office based staff are also working from home and are available on their work mobiles and email, with a skeleton staff currently working within our head office.

A number of surveyors are working from home producing survey results

Surveyors are attending sites where no face-to-face meetings are required / where there is no contact with members of the public

We are also prioritising more local surveys in order to limit travel and reduce or eliminate instances where surveyors would normally require an overnight hotel stay

Some site works may be shifted to night working hours

There are no current office visitors being accepted and all deliveries to our office are taking place in a "non-contact" manner

Surveyors are traveling to site in their own vans and have access to hand sanitiser and client welfare where possible (gloves are mandatory)

Government advice regarding hand-washing and social distancing has been provided to onsite staff

We are also asking clients to complete inductions remotely and are in regular contact with all staff attending sites to check on their general well-being and to ascertain any concerns that need addressing

Anyone displaying symptoms (a new continuous cough and / or a high temperature) or living in a household with those displaying symptoms will be asked to self isolate accordingly (7 or 14 days).

We shall continue to monitor the situation and adhere to government guidelines, whilst also continuing to deliver a high standard of customer service to assist our our clients in meeting their needs and objectives.
